名称文献：Morinda nanlingensis Y. Z. Ruan var. pilophora Y. Z. Ruan in Addenda 330. 1999.
形态特征：与原变种不同处为叶下面密被柔毛。
产地分布：产湖南西南部和广西东北部。生于山地林下或阴处灌丛中。模式标本采自湖南西南部。
